Did you try and invite your friend over for dinner? And yes I
did eat vegetables and all, shocker I know. Peas and spinach are about the only
vegetables I enjoy eating everything else I just deal with. The pretzels were
delicious, it’s been fun to cook. I didn’t really cook too much till I got here
but now we are cooking up a storm. Not too much happened this week it rained a
lot so it slowed us down. We had interviews with president Friday so that went
really well. Then we had a fireside with the ward about doing missionary work last
night. That went really well. We ate dinner with a family before the fireside,
a super young couple like 21, and we had a neat experience with them. At the
end of the dinner we shared a spiritual message from Omni 1:26 that talks about
offering your whole soul to Christ. And we talked about that for a while and
then after we asked them what they could do this week to offer their soul more
fully to Christ. And the husband said they were going to come to the fireside.
They weren’t planning on it, but the husband said its feels like a good thing
to do. The whole goal of the fireside was to help members receive revelation
about who to share the gospel with and how to share the gospel. After the fireside the members came up to us
and were talking about this friend and asking questions on how to get
missionaries over there and that they feel like they really needed to help her
and all this amazing stuff. So it was a pretty good night last night. Other
than that though not too much to talk about. Talk to ya next week, love ya.
