The talk went really well. I’m so glad that he decided to
get baptized and the rest of the family is on track to be baptized as well. The
baptism was such a great experience, the spirit is always so strong and it
makes it all worth it. All those hot days on a bike all those days when people
slam the doors in your face and don’t
want to listen to you, all of that is worth it because of the steps that I get
to help people take to come closer to their Savior. I love serving a mission.
The interview went really well, I like President Baker a lot. He’s such a good
guy and I look forward to serving with him. I did get your letter, thanks. Well
it’s good they like seeing missionaries while they are young, it will make them
want to go on missions later. New Port News is in the mission so if I ever
serve up there I will try and get in touch with them. My friends aren't allowed
to be engaged! We aren't that old!! So when Elder Mcgettigan first got here we
helped a family move out of the ward. Last week that family called and said
they had a friend in the ward that wants to be baptized! So we met with him on Sunday,
and he’s been coming to church for over a year, I thought he was a member. But
we are starting to teach him and hopefully before I get transferred he will get
baptized! Well that’s about it, love ya.
