Thanks for the package! And yes the college stuff did help.
I should be in the middle of the video that Sis. Hamilton sent, I’m
wearing a red shirt and standing in the back.
This week was really good. Don’t worry we didn't die in the
hurricane. It didn't hit us hard at all up here, it rained a lot in the middle
of the night apparently though. I was hoping for worse, I think it would be fun
to be in a hurricane.
We found an awesome new family to teach. They used to live
in Oregon, they are in the coast guard, and while they were there they attended
church and loved the ward and went to all kinds of activities. Then they moved
and didn't really have contact with the church. But what they didn't know is
that they moved in next to a less active member. So we got a referral from the
member when we first got in this area and we haven't been able to contact
them because they have been out of town. So the other day the wife post on
Facebook (in a military family group or something) if anybody knows how she can
sign up and feed the Mormon missionaries. Needless to say all of the military
members of our ward jumped at once. We had dinner with them on Saturday
and it was awesome. There was just one problem, they said that they don't
necessarily believe in God... But they are the most opened minded people I have
ever met, they are truly seeking for truth. Unfortunately with his job he goes
out of town for half of every month so we won’t see them both for a few weeks.
Love ya,
Jordan
